Site Analysis & Recommendations
Some clients have short-term issues in need of immediate attention. Others have longer-term needs. Some clients want to outsource most of their SEO/SEM requirements. Others want to supplement existing efforts in key areas.
We approach each assignment from a needs-based perspective to ensure that every aspect of SEO/SEM work we do addresses the specific objectives of your company.
Fees
Fees for Web site analysis and recommendations typically range from $12,000 - $50,000, depending on the size of the site, the complexity of the site, issues facing the site, and the nature and competitiveness of the category involved.
Framework for Site Reviews
Though every site and every site review is different, we take the same general approach to most site reviews:
Objectives & Assignment
We determine what a site owner or SEO/SEM manager wants to achieve, how we might help, and in what period of time. Once we define the scope and expected duration of an assignment, we can provide a proposal for the client's consideration.
Situation Assessment
Any SEO/SEM plan — to be successful at the highest level — must come from an understanding of the company's overall business and marketing plans. So we do lots of digging, ask lots of questions, and obtain as much information as we can about a site's business model, marketing objectives, and history. Then we conduct our own review of the situation: The site, the category, and the competitive environment.
Review & Discussion
After assessing the situation, we review our findings with the client: Observations, conclusions, preliminary ideas and recommendations, and the risks/rewards associated with various strategies and tactics. We also work closely with the client to identify which options would be the easiest and/or most cost-effective to implement, short- and long-term.
Plans
Following the Review, we develop a final set of plan recommendations. All recommendations are developed jointly by the principals.
Implementation
Some clients handle most of the actual plan execution themselves; others prefer to outsource most of the SEO/SEM implementation; still others employ a hybrid approach. We're flexible, and will implement according to the client's needs, budgets, etc.
